This Monday was not particularly discussed the military option within the approved resolution of the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance (Tiar) for strategic reasons, but it is not ruled out and is a next step, said Gustavo Tarre Briceño, special representative of Venezuela before the Organization of American States (OAS).

In exclusive statements granted to the journalist Carla Angola, of EVTV News, she said that this was already being discussed and this time the delegation of Guaidó focused on the fact that if she goes to an argument it is to win it, so she focused mainly on the aspects approved in said resolution.

«We could say we demand the formation of a multinational force that immediately proceeds to Maduro: how many votes would we have taken? This is not the time. We have been able to make the proposal, and lose. And after losing it, the Tiar is over, ”he explained.

He said that not only a set of sanctions against the Maduro regime was approved on Monday, but the meeting was also open, and all options remain on the table. So he recommended not to despair. “We are working on that,” he reiterated.

The military option is included in Article 8 of the Tiar, recalled Tarre Briceño. He reiterated that Maduro will not be saved from being sanctioned and imprisoned by international law as was the Serbian and genocidal dictator Slobodan Milosevic in the past.
