Ivanka Trump, daughter of the US president and adviser to the White House, arrived on Monday night in Colombia to make a diplomatic visit that will lead her to meet different meetings with Colombian authorities.
The first and main act in which it will be present will be at 8:30 am this Tuesday and is called Women’s Economic Empowerment, where it will expose the role of women in economic activity, the newspaper El Tiempo de Bogotá reported.
Later, around 10:45 in the morning, a floral offering is scheduled at the Santander General Police School, where last January more than 20 cadets of that institution died. The presence of the Minister of Defense, Guillermo Botero, is planned there.
Upon arriving in Bogotá, Ivanka thanked Vice President Marta Lucía Ramírez for receiving her.
It is not ruled out that during the visit it also addresses the issue of Venezuelan migrants.
The Latin American tour will continue through Argentina and Paraguay.
Just landed in Bogota, Colombia. Thank you Vice President Marta Lucía Ramírez for the warm welcome. Looking forward to a great trip! 🇺🇸🇨🇴#WGDP
