The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, informed on Thursday that he reiterated his support for the Head of State of Colombia, Iván Duque, for the fight he undertook against narcoterrorism that affects both nations.
Through his Twitter account (@jguaido) he rejected the use of Venezuelan territory under the protection of the Nicolás Maduro regime to spread the messages of terrorism.
“I just talked with the president of Colombia, Iván Duque. We reiterate our support for the fight he has undertaken against narcoterrorism that affects both nations, ”said Guaidó.
He noted that he instructed Julio Borges, presidential commissioner for Foreign Affairs, to meet with Colombian Foreign Minister Carlos Holmes Trujillo in order to “evaluate joint government actions.”
In that sense, he affirmed that all Venezuelans had to reject these types of threats “in respect of our sovereignty.”
