FMV: at least 1 person dies daily in each hospital in the country

«There are 301 hospitals in the country and at least one person dies every day in each of them,» said Douglas León Natera, president of the Venezuelan Medical Federation at a press conference.

He also indicated that the majority of patients who manage to find solutions in hospitals must bring all the necessary supplies to be treated, since health institutions do not have the tools to help them.

In addition, he denounced the sale of medicines that do not comply with the necessary health services for their consumption, however people choose to buy them due to their high cost in pharmacies.

On the other hand, on behalf of the Venezuelan Medical Federation, he made a proposal for a minimum salary adjustment of $ 1,000, not only for the health guild, but for all workers in the country, this in relation to the situation the country where the economy is dollarized, León Natera said.
