The humanitarian crisis that affects Venezuela worsens with the passing of days and increasingly affects the health sector. Carlos Prosperi, a resident physician at the Vargas hospital in Caracas, revealed that the institutions are implementing barter systems for the exchange of inputs.
«The little we have we exchange with the little they have to solve the health problem of the sick people,» said Prosperi who insisted that these measures are not enough to solve the health problem in the country.
“We do not have the inputs to guarantee what is contemplated in the Constitution, the union leader added.
Another of the complaints made around the hospital was the lack of resources for feeding patients in the centers, since they ensure that for months the citizens held in public hospitals have not guaranteed any kind of food.
